Limestone
Limestone is used mainly in a finely crushed form as an agricultural fertiliser, roading aggregate, steel making, gold-ore processing, pulp and paper manufacture, and sewage and waste water treatment, construction or burnt in kilns in order to make cement and so on.
Limestone crusher
SBM limestone crusher is commonly used in crushing material below 320Mpa of maximum compression strength such as limestone, marlite, sandstone, granite, shale, plaster, coal and so on.
It crushes big ore into required small particle which makes the coarse, medium and fine crushing to be achieved by different types of limestone crusher. The widely used limestone crusher are jaw crusher, impact crusher, VSI crusher etc.
Jaw crusher is used for coarse crushing as primary crusher towards different stones and ores with compression strength between 147~245MPa. It is with high crushing ratio, even size, simple structure, stable running, easy maintenance and low running consumption.
Impact crusher is used for coarse crushing as primary crusher and secondary crusher, it can handle different materials with size no more than 500mm and compression strength below 360 Mpa. it is widely used in stone crushing plant in fields such as highway construction, water conservancy and construction.
VSI crusher is widely used to process various ores, cement, refractory, bauxite clinker, raw glass, manufactured construction sand, stone and other metallurgical slag.

Unexpected additional advantages of limestone crusher:
Limestone crusher dust is used as a filler material for cement or aggregates and might have some beneficial effects on concrete depending on the percentage replacement and chemical composition of dust. On the other hand, it is known that addition of discontinuous discrete fibers improves many properties of concrete depending on the type of fiber, amount added and aspect ratio. The effects of existence of both crusher dust and fibers on concrete are not known very well yet. The fresh and hardened properties of concretes having different crusher dust contents and fibers with various aspect ratios and volume percentages were investigated in this research.
Crushed rock acts as filler and helps to reduce the total voids content in concrete. Consequently, this contributes to improve the quality of concrete.
On the other hand, it is well known that adding fibers to concrete reduces brittle behavior of concrete and may improve some other properties of hardened concrete such as splitting tensile strength and compressive strength.
