Gravel:

Gravel is an important commercial product, with a number of applications. Many roadways are surfaced with gravel, especially in rural areas where there is little traffic. Globally, far more roads are surfaced with gravel than with concrete or tarmac; Both sand and small gravel are also important for the manufacture of concrete. Usually gravel can be divided into many kinds such as river rock(cabble stone), crushed rock, crushed stone, fine gravel, lag gravel, etc.

Gravel crusher can used to be crush concrete, reinforced concrete, glass, paving slabs, bricks, tiles, blocks, porcelain, flint, stone, old asphalt, kerbstones etc. The major usage of gravel crusher is crush these raw materials into gravel.

Gravel crusher:

SBM is a major gravel crusher manufacturer in China. Our gravel crusher can meet the different demands of the clients. The major gravel crusher manufactured by SBM is single toggle jaw crusher, mobile crusher, impact crusher and etc.

SBM PE series stationary heavy duty single toggle jaw crusher can crush the concrete, bricks etc. easily. Equip with the base plate, SBM portable crusher or mobile crusher can enter the site where access and space are restricted. This series industrial jaw crusher machine can reach the crushing ratio of 4-6 and the shape of final product is even and providing a large jaw for significant daily tonnage where larger machines are impractical or too noisy.

Output: Output will vary according to jaw setting, loading method, loading equipment, input material, and familiarity of the loading operator. In excess of 45 tonnes per hour has been achieved.

Gravel crusher usage:

Gravel crusher can crush concrete, kerbstone, marble, paving slabs, bricks, tiles, blocks, stone, porcelain, flint, gravestones, etc. Our customer base includes quarries, sand and gravel pits, recycling operations, construction contractors, heavy-highway builders, local, county and state municipalities and utilities.

About SBM:

SBM focuses on rock crushing equipment and other products that are used in mining, recycling, processing and transport of aggregate and ores. The products we provide can be used to process all types of materials found in or on the ground. Some of the most common found in our area are limestone, gypsum, gravel, granite, quartzite and recycled asphalt, sand or concrete. Our rock crushing equipment and other products can assist in the size reduction of these materials, through drilling, blasting or multi-stage rock crushing and screening operations. Our products can be used to separate various sizes of ore and to remove undesirable contaminates like clay, shale and lignite. We also offer a full line of conveyors to transport and stockpile finished materials. These include transfers, stacking, telescoping and overland rock sand conveyors.

We specialize in the design and manufacturing of portable aggregate processing equipment for the aggregate, mining and recycle industries.

SBM crushing equipment is characterized by compact, portable efficient designs that feature low transport, set up and operating costs. We also manufacture a complete line of field proven portable crushing, screening and conveying equipment.

The major product line includes: Jaw crushers and jaw crushing plants, cone crushers and cone crushing plants, vertical shaft impactor crushers, vibrating screen plants, vibrating feeders, and conveyor belts and mobile crushing plant.

Sand gravel:

The use of sand and gravel as a commodity falls into two separate categories. Some is used in construction where it may be mixed with other materials or used as is. The second use is industrial where the sand and gravel are used in some way in the production of other materials.

Sand, is mostly quartz (silicon dioxide, SiO2) grains. The weathering of rocks such as granite forms these quartz grains. The silica is needed to make products such as glass. In addition, sand is useful for traction on icy roadways and railroads, and for sandblasting.

World resources of sand and gravel are very large. The sand and gravel deposits that have proven to be most valuable are from present and ancient river channels, river flood plains and glacial deposits.

Industrial sand and gravel are produced all over the world. The leading nations processing and producing industrial sand and gravel include the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Spain, Sweden, and South Africa.

Specific percentages on the uses of construction sand and gravel are not available. This is because a little more than 50% of the sand and gravel consumed for construction is for "unspecified" purposes. However, it is reported that the remaining 50% is used to make concrete, for road construction, for mixing with asphalt, as construction fill, and in the production of construction materials like concrete blocks, bricks, and pipes. It is also used to make roofing shingles, on icy roads in the winter, railroad ballast, and water filtration.
