During the highway construction, the asphalt concrete road surface is a key procedure, the clients had to put forward strict requests for the shape and rank of the aggregate, especially the content of the needle plate type in the basalt, in order to meet this requirement, SBM puts up a new crushing and screening processing plant. The high quality aggregate produced by this production plant is widely used in road surface of many highways.

Basalt aggregate production plant is used to produce high quality aggregate and sand of cubical shape by crushing hard limestone, basalt stone, granite stone, river pebbles, even stone recycling materials and so on.

This plant can widely be used in urban construction, highway construction, railway construction, road & bridge construction, building aggregate, concrete materials etc.

SBM basalt aggregate production line mainly consists by PE jaw crusher or JC jaw crusher, CS cone crusher or HPC hydraulic cone crusher or HCS90 single cylinder cone crusher, PF impact crusher or PFW hydraulic impact crusher and vertical shaft impactor (VSI crusher, sand making machine), the key machine is impact crusher and VSI crusher.

Vibrating feeder feeds the material into jaw crusher, and then jaw crusher crushes it primarily. After being crushed into reasonable size, the material will be reshaped and processed by impact crusher. Vertical shaft impact crusher plays the role of tertiary crushing, and then vibrating screen sieves product. Product size is up to the crusher model and screen model.

1) The quality of the product is very high. Content of needle plate type is no more than 5%. A diabase in Africa, once adopted jaw crusher and cone crusher. But content of needle plate type is more than 10%, resulting the bad sell of its product. After using VSI Series Vertical Shaft Impact Crushers and PF impact crusher, the content of needle plate type in the product is reduced to 4.7%.

2) The production improves 50% compared with utilizing Impact Crusher as the final processing of crushing.

3) Because we utilize Impact Crusher as the secondary crusher, and Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher consumes little metal, the consumption of wear-parts is reduced greatly in the whole process.

After the basalt stone has been mined and transported to quarrying, when the basalt stone go through basalt aggregate production plant, the basalt aggregate is made.

Basalt aggregate can be widely used in high class pavement such as expressway surface, runway surface, dam surface etc.
